Today's quote is from Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey.
Dr. Elizabeth Kapuʻuwailani Lindsey is a cultural anthropologist, filmmaker, explorer, and National Geographic Explorer. She was the first Polynesian Explorer and first female Fellow of the National Geographic Society. Her work focuses on preserving Indigenous knowledge and exploring how ancient wisdom can help us navigate a changing world.

Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey once said:

”Dream like you're a kid who hasn't discovered self-doubt yet.”

Think about how children dream.
They don't necessarily worry about whether something is realistic.
A child might dream of becoming an astronaut, an inventor, an artist, or the person who changes the world.
Then, somewhere along the way, we learn words like ”practical,” ”realistic,” and ”impossible.”
And sometimes, we start shrinking our dreams before we ever give them a chance.
But what if we could recover some of that childhood imagination?
Not by ignoring reality, but by asking a different question:
”What if it actually is possible?”
Self-doubt can be powerful.
But so can curiosity, courage, and imagination.
And the dreams we have today don't have to look exactly like the dreams we had as children.
They just need to remind us that our future doesn't have to be limited by the fears we've collected along the way.
So here's the question: What would you dream about if you temporarily forgot all the reasons you couldn't do it?
Maybe it's time to give that dream another look.
Remember, you may have learned to doubt yourself—but you can also learn to believe in yourself again.
That's going to do it for today. I'm Andrew McGivern signing off for now, but I'll be back… tomorrow! Same pod time, same pod station with another Daily Quote.
